Ceramic coating

A harder surface
over your
paint.

Water runs off instead of sitting. Dirt has less to hold on to. Two to five years of it.

What it is

A layer that bonds to the paint.

Ceramic coating is a liquid that bonds to your paint and hardens on top of it. Water beads and runs off instead of sitting on the panel. Dust and road film have less to grab, so a wash goes faster and the shine holds longer.

The job

The paint comes first.

The coating takes on the finish underneath it. Get the paint right first and the shine goes deeper and holds longer.

So we read the paint before we quote the coating, and we tell you what it takes to get the most out of it.

  1. We inspect the paint

We read the paint under the shop lights, and you see what we see.

  2. We correct what needs correcting

Polishing brings the depth back before anything goes over it.

  3. We apply the coating

    Panel by panel.

Not just the paint

Coating goes on more than the body panels. Glass, wheels, and the seats inside can all be coated too. Tell us how far you want to take it.

We use the best coating on the market.

Coverage and price depend on the vehicle. Text photos to (806) 808-0990 and we send back a free estimate; we confirm it when we see the car.

Who it's for

For the car you want looking its best.

Coating puts a hard, glossy layer over the paint. The color looks deeper, water beads and runs off, and dirt has less to hold on to, so the car stays looking clean between washes.

Two to five years of it — on the paint, and on the glass, the wheels and the seats if you want it there. You choose how far it goes.

How it works

Five steps.

  1. Text photos

Send photos to (806) 808-0990. We look at them and send back a free estimate in minutes.

  2. Walk in

No appointment. Bring the car when you are ready. Or call or text to book a time.

  3. We look at the paint

We tell you what the paint needs before the coating, and what it will cost.

  4. You decide

Correction and coating, or coating alone if the paint is already right.

  5. We do the work

You pick the car up when it's done.

Questions

What people ask us.

Do I need an appointment?

No. Text photos to (806) 808-0990 if you want a number before you come. Walk in when you are ready, or call or text and we will book you a time.

Can I get an estimate from photos?

Yes. Text photos of the car to (806) 808-0990 and we send back a free estimate in minutes, with no obligation. We confirm it when we see the paint.

Does it stop rock chips?

No. Coating is for shine and cleaning, not impact. Film is what stops chips.

Do I still have to wash the car?

Yes. It washes easier and stays clean longer, but it still needs washing.

Does my paint need work first?

Sometimes. Coating locks in what's underneath, so swirls and dull spots have to come out first. We look and tell you.

How long does it last?

Two to five years. Where your car lands in that range depends on the coating and on how you take care of it. We'll tell you which one you're getting.

Can you coat the glass and wheels too?

Yes. Glass, wheels, and the seats inside. Tell us how far you want to take it.

Do I get anything else with it?

Yes. Booking ceramic coating puts you in the United Care Club automatically. 10% back on your next service, up to $500, plus one free door ding repair.
